I Love KL: Loke Mansion

While some heritage sites in the nation have been demolished and rebuilt on, one of the few that have managed to withstand the blitz of commercialism is The Loke Mansion on Jalan Medan Tuanku. Once the home of Chinese tycoon cum entrepreneur Loke Yew and built during the city’s early years of development, the site’s since been restored to its prior architectural glory by law firm Cheang & Ariff. This week in the studio, we have Christopher Wong as he talks of his book that uncovers the story of the Loke Mansion, and the man behind it all.
