Not Ordinary, But Extraordinary

While cats may have nine lives, humans barely get one. We hear the story of Alvin Lim, who cheated death on the operating table after he collided with an oil tanker whilst on his bike en route to Singapore. The impact left him paralysed from waist-down - which typically would be enough to force a disengagement from society - but that didn't stop him from fulfilling his need for speed and sense of adventure. Now Malaysia's only hand-cyclist and part of the national Paralympics team, he tells us his inspiring story of the hurdles he overcame, and his goal to reach 2020 Summer Paralympics.
