But in Malaysia, the horror scene has had a rough history, as criticisms targeting its predictability, inauthenticity, and lack of talent, have not been well received. Vimal, founder of The Art Of Horror Club, as well as local horror author Megat Ishak, attempt to unpack the state of horror in Malaysia, sharing their plans for the genre's reinvention while doing so.
