Don’t Shoot The Messenger

Over 700 journalists have been killed, in the past decade, for highlighting issues which are sometimes critical towards religion or the ruling government. In conjunction with the UN’s International Day to End Impunity for Crimes Against Journalists, this episode will focus on cases of censorship in Asia, namely India, Bangladesh and Indonesia, where suppression ranges from violence, to the cancellation of events that promotes freedom of expression.

This report was produced by Sharyl Kaur, Aziff Azuddin and Aisyah Tajuddin.
