Political Fortress - Set in Stone?

The trend of political dominance of a coalition or a party in the states of East Malaysia continues with the recently concluded Sarawak State Election. And the pattern cuts across various states in Peninsular Malaysia too. Is competitive election simply not possible in these states? What are the factors that influence their political dominance? We explore, starting with Sarawak, and then the Peninsular.

Here are the segments of the episode:

1:10 - Asia Calling 1 - Pakistan feels the effect of Panama Papers

8:35 - Asia Calling 2 - Death threats to Bangladeshi bloggers

15:08 - Political Fortress - Set in Stone?

This episode was produced by Sharyl Kaur and Muhammad Haniff Baharudin.
