Three Lions Roar, After Greek Setback

England made a commanding return to Finland, securing a 3-1 victory and redeeming themselves after a disheartening home loss to Greece. In their first trip to Finnish soil in 24 years, Lee Carsley’s squad showcased resilience and intent, with Jack Grealish lifting spirits early, netting from close range in the 18th minute. As the game neared its end, both Trent Alexander-Arnold and Declan Rice added to the tally in the final 15 minutes, ensuring England's UEFA Nations League position remains strong. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo once again proved unstoppable, steering Portugal to a flawless Nations League run with a 3-1 triumph in Poland, adding yet another goal to his impressive scoring streak. Over in Italy, an enthralling 2-2 clash saw the Azzurri race to a two-goal lead before a red card for Lorenzo Pellegrini opened the door for Belgium to mount a comeback. Spain also continued their fine form, thanks to Martín Zubimendi's thunderous volley from outside the box that shattered Denmark’s defenses, extending Spain’s unbeaten streak to 13 matches across all competitions. All that, plus Malaysia’s 4-0 defeat to New Zealand, covered in this episode of Just For Kicks.
