Raya Style 2017: Tom Abang Saufi

Designers have always pushed the boundaries when it comes to blurring the line between traditional and progressive fashion. Yet Datuk Tom and Habsah of Tom Abang Saufi are steadfast in sticking to their signature heritage-inspired designs. The two are unabashedly proud of their roots, and it shows in their latest bright and colourful Raya collection, which draws from the culture and colours of Sarawak. Later, Emma Chong Johnston breaks down slipper mules, a trend which has slowly made its way from the streets to the runway.
