From Paris to KL

He was first on Style File back in 2011, and recently again with us last month for his collaboration with jewelry brand, Zcova, Khoon Hooi joins us this week on his own to talk about his romantic designs. When it comes to luxurious occasionwear, floor-sweeping evening gowns, Malaysian designer, Khoon Hooi, is among the few that comes to mind. Highly sought after by fashion elites and international luxury brands, Khoon Hooi has successfully broke through the global market, making a name for himself. Debuting his extravagant and avant-garde designs in Paris Fashion Week since 2010, Khoon Hooi is a common household name among international, acclaimed fashion designers. Drawing inspirations from Parisian fabrics, whilst still incorporating traditional local elements, Khoon Hooi’s designs truly highlights the best of both worlds.
