All About That Sax

Hailed as one of Malaysia's top saxophonists, Julian Chan is self taught yet has managed to perform alongside some of the big names in jazz music including Laura Fygi, Peter Grant, Michael Veerapen, and many more. He also performs regularly at gigs as a member of the band WVC Malaysian Jazz Ensemble. We ask him about his Masters in Jazz Performance, and what it's like to perform to the tipping audiences of NYC.
