Aw Young Tuck

This man started watching stand-up comedy in Cantonese from Form 1 and now he’s a regular “open-mic-er” and he’s even won the Short and Sweet last year! With English as his second language, it was an interesting journey for him to perform comedy in a language that he’s not comfortable in. We talked about the family-like situation in the Malaysian comedy scene and the difference between the stand up culture in Hong Kong and Malaysia.
