Dilruk Jayasinha, Comedian

Dilruk Jayasinha

Tonight, we were joined with the Sri Lankan born stand up comedian, Dilruk Jayasinha who's currently based in Australia! Coming here for a quick stay and headlining the always awesome Comedy Crack House for a couple of weekends, whilst taking in the sights and sounds of Malaysia.

Affectionately dubbed ‘Curry Casanova’ by himself and agreed upon by his fans, this rising star of Australian comedy had his amazing breakthrough when he first appeared for the comedy talk show, ‘Live on Bowen’. He left audiences laughing their stomachs out and producers that were so impressed, they immediately got him to be a regular presenter for season two of the show!

The ex-accountant, initially came over to Australia for studies and ho hum, found himself (happily) stuck for a good 11 years. Had his first debut solo show at the 2014 Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICM) with a packed sold-out show. Following up with a bit of ‘second album syndrome’, Dilruk hit it off the bat with his new show, ‘Immegrateful’ for MICM 2015. With an astounding, 12 out of 22 night seasons were sold-outs!

For the record, Dilruk scored _ !
