Lex Low

Hot off launching his fresh new barbershop in USJ, tonight in the TTON studio, we were joined by Lex Low, founder of Lequiff & Co and Amplitude Barbershop.

Amplitude Barbershop is a unique blend of scissors cutting away, defining the sharpest of new hair trends whilst live music will be played for the enjoyment for all it’s patrons as Lex describes Amplitude as ‘a barbershop inside a music store.’ Though the art of hairdressing for Lex does not stop when the shop closes.

Lex is an active man when it comes to non-profit work. He goes around Kuala Lumpur giving out free haircuts for the impoverished, orphanages, old folks and disabled houses and also the homeless on the streets. Lex worked with Dignity For Children Foundation in creating a six month course where he taught hairdressing skills for a more secure employment by underprivileged children. He’s on the way with DFC to create a hair school for more children to join in soon!

For the record, Lex scored 10
