Natasha Kraal

Tonight coming into our studios, we had a woman whose voice (and words) map out the latest trends and happenings in the fashion world. She’s none other than the Editor-in-Chief, Natasha Kraal! We catch up with Malaysia’s leading fashion authority and their on going project, Pink Project Campaign.

Natasha Kraal is a name who carries so much weight in our fashion industry, it is hard to consider a new designer piece without the consideration and sound advice from arguably Malaysia’s #1 fashion opinionator. Natasha has a slew of writers under her belt at any given time of day but when the pen is left alone, she can do a valiant effort in judging as she was featured as guest editor for Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 2.

In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness month, Harper’s BAZAAR has teamed up with Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) for a handful of projects together to raise awareness and funding for cancer research. On October 1st, Harper’s had a high tea event called BAZAAR Pink Partea. Proceeds has been fully channelled to BCWA Malaysia. There will be roadshows in multiple shopping malls nationwide throughout October (12th, 13th, 27th and 28th).

The BWCA’s Mobile Unit Reaching Nationwide with Information (MURNI) will be available with professional volunteers will conduct clinical breast examinations (CBE) and educate the public on self-examination methods. Finally, a special collaboration is being done with established Malaysian fashion designers who have created limited edition pink ribbons for the project available through the October issue of Harper’s BAZAAR in Kinokuniya.

For the record, Natasha scored 19!
