Radio3000

Tonight, we had a man who throws down lines and rhymes for a living, all the way from sunny North California, it’s Kenny Hughes aka Radio3000!

It all during high school when his passion for music got him on airwaves already with his early track, Ease The Pain. Soon after, he headed off to Hollywood and studied the intricacies of the music business while at the Musicians Institute, Los Angeles.

From then on, he went all around with doing opening acts for the likes of Stevie Wonder, Brandy, T-Pain, Tina Marie, Keisha Cole, Chris Brown, Mario, and B.O.B just to name a few. When 2007 rolled by, he performed on TV for the first time for BET’s Spring Bling. A year later, Radio3000 landed a six-month contract to perform in Singapore.

As the man’s popularity heightens in 2009, Radio3000 dropped his track Lah onto the Singaporean public and never looked back. His song became a national hit, some even calling it a national anthem. He soon went back to the States where he proudly stayed at #1 for RnB charts for websites like Reverbnation and MySpace.

Since 2012, Radio3000 found even more TV success with appearances in The Voice, Candy Girls and more. Coupled with a few contracts that lead him to perform in Bali, Jakarta, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Radio3000 knows how to roll his chances. Currently, Radio3000 is the executive director for 2Deep Entertainment. In terms of his music, Radio3000 just released a new single featuring our local boy, SonaOne and H-ROC; titled Nervous.

For the record, Radio scored 11!
