The 23-year-old, bubbly, Japanese, Korean and Indonesian mix Sachié Amira, a Malaysian songstress has gone from tribute concerts at the International College Of Music to background vocals for local artists such as Ning Baizura, Siti Nurhaliza and Jamal Abdillah. She was awarded Director’s Choice Award in the Short & Sweet Musical 2012 and was a member of local show choir “Splash” led by the Broadway Academy. She’s currently hosting two TV shows; HyppInspirasi’s Kbuzz and NowPlayingKpop and is also undergoing preparation for her debut album which will have a touch of pop, r&b, funk, ballad and trip-hop.

 

She’s headlined at venues like Alexis, No Black Tie, Marini’s on 57, Troika, Mezze Lounge, Laundry, The Bee, Tom Dick and Harry’s, Ril’s, Calavera and Nerofico. She was also the opening act for the F1 Race Concert alongside another local act GTXperiment.

 

She came in as the top 10 finalist amongst 300 participants of Ringstar Competition 2013, judged by international singer Yuna Zarai organized by The Star. Sachié just got featured on the Next Gen section of the The Sun Daily. She’s also a mean anime voice actress.
