There are a lot of issues in the music industry in Malaysia such as high taxes and strict regulations for concerts, music publishing and copyright issues, royalty issues that have remained unresolved for two decades, opportunities and welfare of local artistes. The new confederation known as Music Malaysia which serves to be the voice of the music industry in Malaysia and aims to solve all these issues. Will these issues get resolved and what will happen to our music industry? The chairman of Music Malaysia and also the president of Karyawan, Datuk Freddie Fernandez is here to discuss it.
