This week Twitterjaya has been all agog about the proposal made that the Islamic penal code called hudud ought to be implemented and ought to apply to both muslims as well as non-Muslims.I asked Ahmad Fuad Rahmat, a researcher with the Islamic Renaissance Front and regular panelist on our Roundtable, to weigh in on this debate.I wanted to know what political values or worldviews underscore this debate.
