Will PAS Majority Cause Market Uncertainty

Markets hate uncertainty and the outcome of the elections on who will form the government is still unknown. While most political pundits and equity analysts expected a hung parliament, the surprise was a possible PAS led PN government which may spook investors. This may bring into question what roles they may play in key ministries. There may also be possible changes in the Budget and may incorporate policies from its own PN Manifesto. Will the market find a PH coalition with the Borneo bloc more palatable? We speak to Pankaj C. Kumar, business commentator for some answers.
