Tech4Good Ep 6: Unmasking Resilience: A Collective Crusade Against Childhood Cancer

Tech4Good is an ongoing series where we explore meaningful solutions to the many challenges facing our world, while discussing the role of technology in achieving sustainability.

Childhood cancer, a reality that transforms lives, demands a creative and joint response. In the face of this formidable challenge, is Malaysia providing adequate support to the affected children and their families? Are we harnessing the potential of inter-industry partnerships and technology to enhance their quality of life and provide opportunities for a semblance of normalcy?

In the concluding episode of the Tech4Good series, we tackle these pertinent issues and more, with insights from Phillip See of Malaysia Aviation Group, Jeevan Rajoo from TCS Malaysia, and Dr. Murali from the National Cancer Society of Malaysia.

We examine the trials and triumphs of a collaborative endeavour across industries, aimed at supporting children with cancer. We further delve into the intricate logistics of orchestrating care for these children, spanning transportation, housing, and education, while highlighting the role of technology in simplifying these challenges. Our guests invite other corporations to partake in this cause, underlining the urgent need for a comprehensive support system to enhance the future prospects of these young lives.
