Declaring a Climate Emergency

Last October, the world’s top climate scientists, under a United Nations panel, warned about little time left before the earth warms to a 1.5°C threshold. With just 11 years left, urgent changes are needed to cut risk of extreme heat, drought, floods and poverty. In response to all of this, there have been calls to declare a climate emergency. We find out more about what this means on today’s show.
