Psoriasis is often mistaken as just a skin disease. With little awareness of psoriasis as a chronic autoimmune disease that can potentially have systemic effects, many people may continue to go undiagnosed and undertreated.

We also hear from Dr Azura Mohd Affandi, Consultant Dermatologist from Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Ampang, about the importance of recognising psoriatic disease as a non-communicable disease.
