Best of Live & Learn 2016: Terrorism and Radicalization

The Abu Sayyaf group made headlines earlier this year for beheading a foreign tourist, igniting conversations about how the Filipino governments and regional neighbours can do to curtail the terrorist group. We examine, in two separate interviews, whether this act of terrorism resembles in any way the bombing of a dining establishment in Puchong, the first such terrorist attack in Malaysia. Later we listen what the Ministry of Foreign Affairs believe governments around the world can do to deradicalize potential terrorists. The full interviews as featured in this podcast are available here, here and here
