Berbudi Berganda #5: Empowering Youths

The unemployment rate in Malaysia currently stands at 3%, but for young people age 15-24 years old, it stands at 10%. Three social organizations, which have been shortlisted for Agensi Inovasi Malaysia’s Berbudi Berganda Social Impact Innovation Challenge, attempts to address this issue by empowering youth with the skills and mentorship they need to adapt to the job market. We find out more from Rasyid Mutalib, Assistant Coordinator at Pertubuhan Prihatin Sosial Malaysia, Jamaluddin Wahab, Caretaker of Rumah Kasih Harmoni, and Low Ngai Yuen, Founder of WOMEN:girls.
