Reciprocal altruism is the act of doing good with the hopes of gaining a favor in return, while kin selection refers to individuals who behave altruistically
towards family members, such as loving your children more than yourself. However, neither theory fully accounts for the entirety of altruistic acts. We explore further with Dr. Johnben Loy.
