International Property Rights Index

Every year, the International Property Rights Index scores and ranks countries worldwide on the state of their legal and political environment, physical property rights, and intellectual property rights. Malaysia ranks 27th out of 97 countries. Sary Levy, a professor of economics and author of the index, and Lorenzo Montanari, executive director of Property Rights Alliance, a network of 74 think tanks from 54 countries which produces the index, joins us to discuss physical and intellectual property rights affect a nation’s economy.
