Feminist Fridays #34: Keep Women & Children #CyberSAFE

Both men and women face widespread harassment online, but many studies have shown that much of the worst harassment is disproportionately targeted at women, including attacks that go beyond name-calling to include stalking and sexual harassment. The National Council of Women's Organisations Malaysia (NCWO) together with CyberSecurity Malaysia is taking the step to raise awareness about this by organising a seminar themed “Keep Women & Children #CyberSAFE”. We find out what's in store from Professor Emerita Tan Sri Dr. Sharifah Hapsah Syed Hasan Shahabudin, the President of the NCWO and Dato’ Dr. Haji Amirudin Abdul Wahab, the Chief Executive Officer of CyberSecurity Malaysia.
