What Is the Value of Housework?

For a long time, housework is not seen as real work, but it is part of the burden of unpaid care work that is often shouldered by women. With the passing of the Housewives’ Social Security Bill, we take a look at how this move values housework, and why putting a value to it benefits both women and men in our goal towards gender equality, together with Kiran Kaur, Advocacy Officer at the Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO).
