Challenge For a Change: Supporting Social Enterprises for a Better Malaysia

Social enterprises are typically businesses that pursue opportunities that have the potential to solve community-based problems and in recent years we’ve seen these enterprises attempt to tackle a variety of issues, like education, environmental sustainability, and community development.

However, challenges such as limited funding, capacity building, and a supportive ecosystem often hinder social enterprises’ growth and impact.

To address these issues, Satu Creative, a social enterprise that supports early-stage technology startups and impact-driven enterprises, in collaboration with Yayasan Hasanah, the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (TEGAS) launched the Satu Creative Hasanah Impact Challenge 2024.

In today’s episode of Enterprise Explores with Azuar Zainuddin, the CEO of Satu Creative, we explore how the Impact Challenge aims to effect transformation within the social enterprise sector and why such initiatives are essential for fostering a more inclusive and sustainable future for all Malaysians.
