Can you work out how to mine a diamond in just 4 days? This is a task that has been set out for artificial intelligence to tackle in the MineRL competition that will take place inside Minecraft. And it’s no easy feat, an AI equipped with the best tool in the game, a diamond pickaxe, would take 9 million steps to randomly find a diamond. May the best AI win.
