Is Menu Rahmah Harmful to the Economy?

The Menu Rahmah initiative was launched by the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) around 2 months ago to help provide affordable meals during a time of increasing cost of living, but has the initiative been harmful to smaller F&B businesses and disrupted the livelihoods of small traders?

That’s what we explore today on Enterprise BizBytes. First with F&B operator Nazri Adam from Sausage Sizzle to give us the perspective of a proprietor in the business, and then with economist Dr Geoffrey Williams from the Malaysia University of Science and Technology who will get into why he thinks Menu Rahmah is harmful from an economic perspective.
