Creating A Safe Space For Failure

The fear of failure is paralysing. It can become so intense that some people, teams and businesses choose to keep to convention, rather than upset the balance and embrace an innovative spirit. While people should not deliberately set out to fail, teams and leaders should strive to embrace an environment which understands that not all projects will succeed, and that failures can – and should – be manageable and survivable . This involves recognising core skills, strengths, areas of growth and potential. In this Raise Your Game session, Lydia shares what leaders need to pay attention to in order to achieve this.
