Can We Win The Data Arms Race?

Data is the new oil, the lifeline of both digital and phygital economies. But data is broken. Big Tech controls most data. Leaks and unauthorised sales and exchanges of data are rampant. Regulatory bodies are in an arms race with Big Tech & businesses to minimise the risk exposure to the average person.

While government regulations provide some protection, they are not tackling the root of the problem. Opinion leaders are increasingly driving for reform at the source - for individuals to take charge of their own data through data self-sovereignty.

We hear from Dataswift’s CEO, Professor Irene Ng about the transformative and disruptive concept of decentralised, self-sovereign data.
