WeChat mini-programs are “sub-applications” within the WeChat ecosystem. They enable to provide advanced features to users such as e-commerce, task management, coupons etc. Cathering to 1.4 billion people in China can be a lucrative idea but new ecommerce decree implemented by the Chinese government has stopped many local businesses who want to enter the market. We speak to Kenneth Lee and Nicole Yeo of eStone Web Services on how local businesses can start their WeChat Mini Program.
