WeChat mini-programs are “sub-applications” within the WeChat ecosystem. They enable to provide advanced features to users such as e-commerce, task management, coupons etc. Cathering to 1.4 billion people in China can be a lucrative idea but new ecommerce decree implemented by the Chinese government has stopped many local businesses who want to enter the market.
