Escaping Domestic Violence During the MCO

According to the Women, Children and Community Development Ministry, there hasn't been an increase in domestic abuse cases in the country, contradicting the surge we are seeing globally. The Woman's Aid Organisation offers their clarification on whether domestic violence has escalated, and how they are able to offer their support to survivors during this time.

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic abuse (or other forms of gender-based violence), you can contact the WAO Hotline at +603 7956 3488, send a Whatsapp at +6018 988 8058 and you can also find more information on wao.org.my.
