PKR Deputy President Rafizi Ramli recently declared RM18 million in net assets, with almost all other party candidates following suit. On the other hand, Khairy Jamaluddin has said that declaring assets should only apply to those who go on to become cabinet members. Should asset declarations be made mandatory and for whom? We explore.
