The Kita Food Festival is an annual event that celebrates the diverse culture of the Southeast Asian culinary scene, and foregrounds conversations around food and food culture. Co-founders Leisa Tyler and Darren Teoh share their inspirations for the event and talks to us about Malaysian and Southeast Asian culinary history. We also hear from our listeners, who weigh in on Malaysian food culture and what makes it special.
