With state elections coming up, the question of whether voters are sufficiently aware of and educated on the different roles and powers of the state vs federal government becomes essential. We speak with Aira Azhari, senior manager of the Democracy and Governance Unit at IDEAS, about the difference between state and federal jurisdictions, and how voters can take them into account. We also hear from our listeners about the local issues that concern, and frankly, frustrate them the most.
