Tanjung Bungah Tragedy - Who’s to Blame?

Criticism of the Penang state government continues unabated following Saturday’s Tanjung Bungah landslide that has claimed 11 lives thus far. A coalition of 20 NGOs known as Penang Forum had highlighted the issue on hillside developments since last year with the Penang Hills Watch initiative. And if their proposed “commission of inquiry” into the landslide will allow a broad investigation or will be narrowly focused.
