The Era of Erdoğan

Following the failed coup attempt in Turkey two weeks ago, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has declared a 3-month state of emergency in the country.

Thousands of civil servants have been dismissed or detained - and according to Amnesty International reports, many of those detained have been tortured.

President Erdoğan is also demanding that the US extradite Fethullah Gülen - the influential cleric Erdoğan holds responsible for orchestrating the coup attempt. In the aftermath of the coup, we explore what the future holds for Turkey, under Erdoğan's administration.

This is a report by Wang Junmey and Keith Kam.
