Ong Chee Ting, Regional Plantation Analyst from Maybank Investment Bank tells us that despite a weak 3rd quarter corporate earnings season for the plantation sector, things looks brighter in the 4th quarter and also 2020 as CPO prices have recovered year on year. He however still prefers the small cap names as they are more leveraged to the commodity’s price movements.
