The National Recovery Council (NRC) announced plans to reopen borders to fully vaccinated travellers without mandatory quarantine on 1 March, subject to Cabinet approval. Meanwhile the Ministry of Health introduced measures to increase the take-up of booster shots to safeguard the healthcare system in the face of the Omicron wave.
