Chairman Set to PAC-k?

00:18 - Over the weekend Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar revealed that she will be serving her final term as MP after she announced her withdrawal from the Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee (PAC). Nurul Izzah had earlier opposed that Kiandee should remain as PAC chairman. In response, Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has agreed to consider replacing Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairperson Ronald Kiandee as he is no longer an opposition member. The decision to replace the current PAC Chairman is in line with Pakatan Harapan’s manifesto that the chair of PAC would be an opposition member.

02:20 - The Palm Oil fight between Malaysia and the EU continues as Tun Mahathir announced that Putrajaya may be forced to buy fighter jets and planes from China if the European Union (EU) persists with its ban on palm biofuels
