What’s Cool At The Malaysia Autoshow 2025?

Daniel Fernandez and his team at dsf.my had a good time at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, and he’s here to summarise some of the things that he witnessed during his time there. Top of the list are of course Perodua’s long awaited EV, which was showcased partially (literally), as well as Proton’s next EV, the e.MAS 5. Then, the two biggest deals, in the form of the Jetour VT9 and GWM TANK 500, both being launched at very competitive prices. We also can’t forget bikes, and both Vespa and its competitor Lambretta showcased their latest wheels at the show, aimed at wooing riders, old and new.

In our discussion segment, Daniel talks about the value of used electric vehicles and why buyers should consider them, albeit with some caveats. Tune in to hear his argument.
