Circuiting the Capital

Back then, when kids were asked to envision and draw what Malaysia would look like in 2020, a common item that we can see, apart from flying cars and tall buildings was the Light Rail Transit (LRT). Besides being a practical development to serve city dwellers, the LRT also became a symbol of progress and modernity. In this Merdeka Special, we look at the stories behind its development, and how it connects Malaysians from all walks of life.
