Sugar, We’re Go(in) Down

Once a warehouse, and at one point, the most happening club in town, The Godown KL, located at 11, Lorong Ampang now aims to be a creative hub for the arts. What differentiates The Godown KL from other similarly repurposed buildings in town is it combines a warehouse that’s almost 100 years old with a newly built annex that’s rustic, yet artistic. How does The Godown KL plan to compete with other players in this increasingly saturated scene? I Love KL paid a visit to the space, when they hosted an event called “Temasya Taming Sari”, to pose this question, and more, to one of its owners.
