International Acts to Skip Malaysia?

In the aftermath of Billie Eilish's concert in Malaysia, certain parties have called for the cancellation of upcoming concerts by foreign artists. The Communications and Multimedia Ministry responded by drawing new guidelines & policies to be released by the end of the year to reflect "sensitivities' of the Malaysian public. Adding an extra layer to what already is a strict framework for permits, what would this mean for international concerts on our shores & how much will it affect the live-music ecosystem? President of Karyawan, Dato' Freddie Fernandez dissects the issue.
