When we were younger, some of the happiest times were spent reading the works of our favourite authors whilst we were in hiding in corners. Lost to the word around us whilst we’re immersed in worlds of magic and mystery. Increasingly as an adult, there seems to be pressure to read the ‘right’ thing, underpinned by the relentless quest to improve ourselves. How do we go back to just enjoying books for what they are?
